The most important location for Pride and Prejudice is Longbourn. So many scenes were set there, both inside and out, that it had to be the first place the production crew concentrated on finding. In the end they found a house in Wiltshire called Luckington Court. Luckily the owner was very welcoming because the house would be needed for ten weeks in total.

"I saw in a flash of ochre in the distance and thought, "what's that?" and I arrived at Luckington Court. I thought, "I've found it!". I knocked on the door and introduced myself to the owner. She invited me in and it seemed that everything we needed was there."
