Summary:

Stephen Whalby loves the moor. Stephen's mother left him and his father when Stephen was just a young boy. Since then he's roamed his childhood moors in Dartmoor, making observations and reporting them to the local newspaper. When a series of senseless murders of young blond women invades his beloved moor, he becomes intrigued...and a suspect.
