"Convention outraged...a class abandoned...a country betrayed!"
Summary:
Based on the award winning play by Julian Mitchell, the film explores the effect of Public School life in the 1930's on Guy Bennett (Rupert Everett) as his homosexuality and unwillingness to "play the game" turns him eastwards towards communist Russia. Loosely based on the life of Guy Burgess, a key figure in the Cambridge Spy Ring of the 1940's who eventually defected to Russia in 1951. The upper class establishment refused to believe he was a spy because he had been to public school.
(Summary written by Craig Wood).

Tommy Judd: Well, you've half a mind. We can all agree on that.
Guy Bennett: Fame or infamy, what does it matter? I shan't be forgotten.
